KFYR-TV: LaCoe running for Burleigh County Commission

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A five-hour Burleigh County Commission meeting Monday night led to a campaign announcement.
Kay LaCoe is now running for a Burleigh County commission seat in 2026.
LaCoe said Burleigh County needs servant leadership, forward thinking and a bigger pool of candidates to choose from.
She also said she has a lot to learn about running a county, but the current commissioners deserve support and advocacy to do their jobs well.
LaCoe is Sr. Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications for the Lignite Energy Council.
